A few people have (genie mainly) have set up an IRC channel, come and chat if you know how, and if you dont go here:
www.mirc.com
1) downlaod mIRC
2)coneect to the EFnet server
3)join the channel: #HPI-Savage (type "#HPI-Savage" in the channel box or type "/join #HPI-Savage" in the type box at the bottom of the screen
if you get stuck jsut post in here.

I got a bot up and running with some Savage vidz so people can download them. bot is up from 4 GMT till 10.30 GMT. ;)
hope to see some new faces in there. :D

nitro freek, are you bieng sarcastic, its a bit hard to tell with your writing but we're just trying to help the hpi community, having a chat area is useful, dont knock it.
ive learnt a lot about hellbringer as well, you can get to know people easier.

yes someone asked for hpi to set one up. i got as faras setting one up for em, all they ahd to do is link it but they didnt lol. id join your chat but its about nitro and i havent a clue

I went into the Uk server but dont see HPI anywhere. :(

No it's not visable type /join hpi-savage where you can type. :D

its not jsut about nitro, Xtreme. weve been talkign about loads of stuff form cars to computers, just depends what comes up.

A regular day of working and dealing with tech issue... Phone talk with German guys from Hamburg, then meeting with Brit from Filton ... the first metal cut of the wing for the Airbus A380 was done this week ...
Went to work in the morning: was almost day but still pretty dark
Went back from work: The daylight was over :o
I like my job :D

I could tell you about Customer complaints and things but hey. Like you said, Almost, It was dark when I left home this morning and dark when I got home. Hmmm Winter must be getting close!!!! But hey, Christmas and a Savage? Maybe!!!! :D

nope im not jokin ive been on it like 2o times n no one is there!!!! yeah i think its a great idea people can communicate a lot easier than through this forum:D
They serve different purposes. On the chat (if there is anybody ;'), you can get answers faster, but other people won't be able to use the same information, because it's gone after a short time. On the forum, everybody can add his experience and read other's, even if they're not online at the same time.
I guess you knew that, but couldn't see you "put down the forum" ;) (I know you weren't too serious about it)

ok guys, follow the intsructions,
get the options box up and make sure you connect to an EFnet server! (i use demon.uk)
then when typing what channel to join try using capitals in the right place.

ash, its not a waste of time, i have been having good conversations with hellbringer and nitro freek, and others. if htere is no one in there then leave and come back later when there is someone. i gave nitro freek a low down on my car ad gave him advise on engines and hop ups and stuff.
whenver i go online, i just open it up and leave it, if someone is talking, il talk , if no one is i will leave it minimised or close it.
